Michael Elmore holds the position of Chief Information Security Officer at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Consumer. Prior to this role, he was VP, Operational Technology Security at GlaxoSmithKline, where he joined in April 2019. Prior to joining GSK, Elmore was the Chief Customer Success Officer at Cisco and prior to Cisco, he was the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Cigna Healthcare. Elmore has spent his entire career in technology, including infrastructure, call center technology and cyber security, while leading global teams on both the vendor side and customer side of the desk. During his time on the buy-side of the desk, Michael has led large global transformations at UnitedHealth Group and Cigna, where he and his team improved customer experience, drove cost optimization, modernized the security posture and led through best-of-breed architectures. Elmore holds a B.S. and double major in Information Network Management and Marketing from the University of Minnesota.
